Event Nails in 1967

So at this weekend's Ladies Lotto Event: Women's Work I met a very interesting man whose work on domestic violence Breaking the Silence was featured in the Slideshow. He was looking at my table with Minx and HER Event Nails on display and he said, "You're not going to believe this, but I created the idea of nail art in the 1960's." He said as an artist, he walked to in Harper's Bazaar with a pre-designed hand painted set of nails for them to use and they did a whole feature on them. I explained how I was one of the few designers doing one of a kind, hand painted, 3-D Nails that can be used in that manner. He said he even had photos from the shoot he could send me and I promised I would share them with my blog.

Michael is the creator of the Standing In Spirit regenerative movement/stress relief program .
