So my sister and I created a dream list when we were younger, usually updated during family road trips, of all the things we'd like to accomplish in life.
One of mine was "BE ON THE COVER OF A MAGAZINE BY THE TIME I'M 30". I wasn't sure quite for what--it could be my educational/activist work, it could be my art, it could be my modeling--just me in some form. (Though secretly I knew it included having an actual picture of ME would be the most awesome).
So when HER Nails was featured on the cover of Acclaim Magazine last year, I thought to myself--ok this could count! I'd be satisfied with that, though a modeling cover would really seal the deal.
So here it is! 6 months before my 30th bday, I am on the cover of a magazine:) Now granted, it's a digital magazine--but unfortunately, that's the only type the exists in the plus size world anymore. We once had a few prints magazines, that all went out of business--and I'll do a post on that later. But for now, here I am--on the Cover of Venus Diva Magazine!
